Hi, I'm Jacquelyn Elder-Merideth, but you can call me Jackie! I’m the proud owner and operator of Jackie’s Pet Sitting Services, serving the Northshore Louisiana area. My journey into pet sitting began in 2019 when a neighbor asked me to care for their pets during the holiday season.

That experience sparked a passion in me that quickly turned into a full-time career. Since January 2020, I’ve dedicated myself to providing the best possible care for pets, ensuring they are happy, safe, and well-loved while their owners are away. My background in Criminal Justice and experience as a former fraud investigator have equipped me with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, all of which I bring to my pet sitting services.

As a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and an insured pet sitter through Pet Sitter Associates, I take my role seriously and strive to offer personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’ve had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to more exotic pets like bearded dragons and tortoises. I believe in building strong relationships with both pets and their owners, and I’m known for my flexible scheduling and commitment to my clients.

When I’m not pet sitting, you can find me out on adventures with my own pets, Jake, Gumbo, and Miko, exploring the great outdoors and capturing candid moments with my camera. My goal is to provide peace of mind to pet owners, knowing that their furry family members are in caring and capable hands.
